March 4  Marion Garden Group “Myths, Lies, and all the Latest Dirt” Sorting through the landscape lore we’ve all learned over the years: the true, false, and just plain silly.

March 5   Mashpee Garden Club “Pruning: Be a Barber, Not a Butcher!” How and when to prune your shrubs, from holly to hydrangeas.

March 15 Hyannis Country Garden “Seed Starting” All the dirt about starting plants from seed: veggies, annuals, perennials and more.

March 18  Martha’s Vineyard Garden Club “Pruning Demystified – be a barber, not a butcher!”

April 3   West Newbury Garden Cub “You Garden Shouldn’t Make You Crazy” Yes, there are things we all can do that will make our gardening easier…

April 4  Eastham Senior Center “Creating a Bird and Butterfly Friendly Landscape”

April 5  Cape Cod Master Gardeners Cape Cod Horticultural Conference I’m one of four speakers and my topic is Vegetable Gardening – small or large, tricks of the trade, some new research, great plants and more.

April 6  “Give Me More COLOR!” Brooks Free Library in Harwich MA. 2 PM – I’ll be speaking about the many plants that bring foliage and flower color to the garden, with an emphasis on great annuals.

April 27th  “Tomatoes and Basil” - growing two of the most-have plants in your vegetable garden. Free talk at Hyannis Country Garden, followed by a Q&A session with all of your gardening questions answered. This talk is part of the Spring Planting Festival at HCG.

May 4  “Plants, Purpose, and Practicality”  A afternoon-long workshop with C.L. and Karen Bussolini at C.L.’s gardens in Sandwich. Presentations on “Naturescaping” “Pruning” and “Great Plants” including tea and a goodie bag of plants and product samples for all attendees. $65 advance registration.  This workshop is now filled. May 7th  Kings Way Garden Club – Yarmouth, MA  – topic to be announced

BOOK SIGNINGS! I am so excited to share my new book Coffee for Roses at several signings this spring and summer.  Here is a first look at the dates and places where I will be speaking and signing copies. Friday May 23 – book launch party at Hyannis Country Garden.  Sunday May 25 garden talk and book signing at Titcombs Bookstore in Sandwich. Talk and signing at the Osterville Library Sunday, June 8th.  Booksmith in Orleans, Sunday June 15th.  July 22 Brewster Bookstore
